What a way to end the season with seven WNC teams in finals, 2 winning premierships (U13 Frogs & U17 Kookaburras) and 2 Runner Up (OPEN Hawks & OPEN Raptors). Our tiny people played their last games in U9s & U11s, and milestone game medals were given to Molly (50), Shinae (100), Alayna (150) and Erin (200).

Here’s some exciting news – WE HAVE LIGHTS!! Our Warrandyte netball court lighting has been upgraded at Taroona Ave and with two new light poles and high level lights that will allow WNC teams to train into the dark hours, we are over the moon!

We are all very excited to be getting back to netball after what feels like such a long break over Summer. The Autumn Season sees 14 rounds played instead of the usual 12, so take note of those extra games.

Payment can now be made for the balance of your Autumn Season fees. The deadline for payment of fees is 24th January 2020. The balance of fees payable on the system has already deducted your $50 deposit. (If you are an Opens player and you have not paid your $50 deposit, please select the correct product for payment which is the Senior Autumn Full Fee)

What a fabulous night we had at The Grand Hotel Warrandyte for our senior presentations last Friday night. Many significant awards were given out and they caused an outpouring of emotion. Special mention goes to Amy Potter who was awarded the prestigious Dusting Award and to Julie O’Reilly who received the Life Member Award, both for their significant contributions to the club. For the first time in 5 years milestone game awards were given out. The seniors have certainly racked up a large number of games between them and we were so pleased to be able to award them to Amie Dusting…

All players interested in joining a WNC netball team for 2020 Autumn Season (February – June) must try out on Saturday 30th November at the Templestowe Courts for U13 – U17 (We will advise the specific times for each age group.) U11’s on Thursday 28th November 4-5 pm at WNC, Tarooona Ave. Please use the link to MyNetball to register for trials and pay your $50 deposit which will be deducted from your Autumn 2020 fees when you pay the balance in January 2020. CLOSING DATE for registrations is Friday 22 November 2019
