Committee

The Warrandyte Netball Club Committee plays a pivotal role in the success and smooth operation of the club. Consisting of dedicated volunteers, the committee ensures that every aspect of the club — from organising teams and fixtures to maintaining child safety and fostering a supportive community — is managed effectively.

Warrandyte Netball Club is run entirely by volunteers. Our committee meets regularly to manage the club’s operations, finances, compliance and community engagement. If you’re interested in joining the committee or helping out, email info@warrandytenetball.org.

Executive

President — Jimmy Harris

Leads the club and chairs committee meetings. Represents WNC at association meetings and ensures the club meets its goals, governance obligations and compliance requirements. Acts as the club’s ambassador to the wider community.

Vice President — Lynne Kruger

Deputises for the President at official meetings and functions. Assists in upholding club rules and governance, and supports day-to-day club operations. Handles escalations when the President is unavailable.

Treasurer — Jamie Booth

Manages club bank accounts, processes invoices and receipts, and maintains financial records for all transactions. Prepares financial reports for the committee and membership at the annual general meeting.

Secretary — Sue Hadden

Handles all general club correspondence and acts as the point of contact for Manningham Netball Association, Netball Victoria, and Manningham Council. Maintains club records and meeting minutes.

Operations

Registrar — Lynne Kruger

Manages player registrations through Netball Connect, coordinates team placements and submissions, processes transfers and clearances, and handles player ID verification each season. See our registrations page for current fees and how to register.

MNA Committee Rep — Jimmy Harris

Represents Warrandyte Netball Club at Manningham Netball Association committee meetings. Communicates competition updates, rule changes and association decisions back to the club.

WSG Rep — Sue Rodwell

Represents the club within Warrandyte Sporting Groups, a community body that coordinates shared facilities, events and advocacy across local sporting clubs in the Warrandyte area.

Equipment Manager — Julie O’Reilly

Manages the club’s equipment including balls, training bibs, first aid kits and other match-day supplies. Ensures all teams have what they need for training and competition.

Coaching & Development

Coaches Manager — Amy Graham

Coordinates coaching across all teams, supports coach recruitment and development, promotes coaching accreditation through Netball Victoria, and manages training schedules and resources.

Game Milestone Coordinator — Rachel Blyberg

Tracks player game milestones — 50, 100, 150, 200 games and beyond. Organises recognition and presentations so every player’s commitment to the club is celebrated.

Communications & Community

Communications — Suzy O’Rourke

Manages the club’s social media presence across Facebook and Instagram. Shares news, match-day updates, photos and community content to keep families connected and promote the club.

Publicity — Jimmy Harris

Writes club articles and match reports for the Warrandyte Diary, the local community newspaper. Ensures the club maintains a visible presence in the wider Warrandyte community.

Club Photographer — Jimmy Harris

Captures match-day action, team photos, club events and milestone moments. Provides images for the website, social media, the Warrandyte Diary and end-of-season presentations.

Sponsorship — Suzy O’Rourke

Sources and manages sponsorship partnerships with local businesses. Coordinates sponsor recognition across uniforms, signage, the website and club events. See our sponsorship packages for details.

Compliance & Welfare

Child Safety Officer — Alison Greig

The club’s known point of contact for child safety matters. Ensures compliance with Victoria’s Child Safe Standards and Netball Victoria’s safeguarding policies. Maintains Working with Children Check records for all volunteers and committee members. Read our child safety policy for more information.

Grants — Jimmy Harris

Identifies and applies for council, state government and community grants to fund club improvements, equipment and programs. Manages acquittal reporting for successful applications.

Uniforms

Uniform Coordinator — Melissa Kerkhof

Manages procurement, inventory and distribution of all club uniforms, apparel and merchandise. Coordinates fittings and ensures all players are match-ready each season. Visit the uniform shop to order.

General Committee

General Committee Members

Support the executive and operational roles across the club. Our general committee members share the workload in areas such as fundraising, event coordination, canteen duty and other club activities.
