Warrandyte Netball Club came together at the weekend to celebrate the autumn season and launch our spring competitions, with players, families and volunteers joining in the presentations.
It was a chance to recognise the effort that goes into a season of netball, thank the people who make it happen and welcome our new club captains, Ruby and Claire.
Welcome, Ruby and Claire
Congratulations to Ruby and Claire on their appointment as WNC’s club captains. Both have shown commitment, leadership and a willingness to lend a hand around the club.
They were already putting those qualities into action at the presentations, helping run the proceedings, award trophies and present hamper prizes.
We’re looking forward to seeing them grow in their roles and help encourage other players to build confidence and take on leadership opportunities of their own.
Thank you to our club community
Our thanks go to the committee, umpires, coaches, buddy coaches and team managers whose work supports our players throughout the season, and to the parents and players who make WNC such a welcoming club.
The presentations brought that community together to celebrate the season and look ahead to what’s next.
Ready for spring
With Tuesday Night Social and Saturday spring competitions starting this week, we wish all our teams a rewarding season on court.
