Two coaching sessions for our netball community

Two netball coaching sessions with Lauren and Rob Nardelli.

Interested in coaching, helping out as a buddy coach, or simply understanding more about the game? Join Lauren and Rob Nardelli for two practical coaching sessions at the Taroona Avenue courts this spring.

No coaching experience is needed. Both sessions are open to current coaches, anyone thinking about coaching, players interested in becoming buddy coaches, and parents and club members who would like to learn more.

Centre passes and throw-ins

Sunday 25 October 2026 · 9:30–11am

Our first session will explore centre passes and sideline throw-ins, with a focus on simple set plays, player movement and positioning.

Lauren and Rob will share practical ideas and drills that can be used with teams of different ages and abilities, helping players work together and create options when bringing the ball into play.

Court balance, spacing and movement

Sunday 8 November 2026 · 9:30–11am

What does good court balance look like? Our second session will look at creating space, moving with purpose and giving teammates better options.

You’ll explore concepts and drills to take back to your team—or use to better understand what’s happening on court.

Everyone is welcome

You don’t need to know all the rules or be planning to take on a team next season. These sessions are about building confidence, sharing ideas and helping more people around the club understand netball.

Both sessions will be held at the Warrandyte Netball Courts, 8 Taroona Avenue, Warrandyte.

Come along, get involved and pick up some practical ideas from Lauren and Rob. We’d love to see you there.

See our club calendar for these sessions and other upcoming club events.
