Melbourne Mavericks players Amy Parmenter, Jessie Grenvold and Shimona Nelson will visit Warrandyte Netball Club on Wednesday 4 November, joining our players and families for an afternoon of training, questions and photos.
With two Australian Diamonds and a Jamaican Sunshine Girl coming to our clubrooms, there’s plenty to look forward to!
Meet our guests
Amy Parmenter is the Mavericks’ inaugural captain and a midcourt defender who made her Australian Diamonds debut in the 2022 Constellation Cup. She has helped lead the Mavericks from their first season through to their first finals appearance in 2026.
Jessie Grenvold has progressed from Mavericks training partner to Australian Diamond. Her breakthrough 2026 season earned her selection in the national squad, and she made her international debut against New Zealand in October.
Amy and Jessie both featured in Australia’s starting seven in the Constellation Cup win over New Zealand in Melbourne on Wednesday 28 October. A week later, they’ll be on court with our Warrandyte players.
Shimona Nelson made her senior international debut for Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls in 2017. The Mavericks’ inaugural club MVP, she reached 5,000 Super Netball goals this season—an impressive milestone for the goal shooter.
