Warrandyte Netball Club celebrated five premierships in the 2018 Autumn season, with flags across the 13U, 17U, 21U, and Open age groups. Eleven of the club’s 19 eligible teams made the finals, with eight reaching grand final day.
The 13U Cobras (24-14) and Komodo Dragons (17-5) both won convincingly in their age group, while the 17U Dingoes powered to a 45-26 victory over Deep Creek Crystals. The Open B Red Robins rounded out the comfortable wins with a 28-22 defeat of EDNC Astros.
The thriller of the day came from the 21U Raptors, who won by a single goal (43-42) over Deep Creek Jets in a game that could have gone either way right to the final whistle.
