Warrandyte Netball Club entered grand final day with six teams and came away with four premierships in the 2013 Autumn season, in what club president Sue Rodwell called an extremely good result.
The 15U Pythons overcame Deep Creek Gems 30-27 in a tight contest, while the 15U Cobras were more comfortable against Donvale Dynamitez, winning 17-13. The 17U Jaguars edged the Warrandyte Eagles 25-23 in an all-club decider that had supporters cheering on both sides, and the Open A Tigers defeated Eltham Hearts 32-25.
All teams fought it out to the final siren in front of proud coaches, family, and friends at Templestowe courts, with four of the six grand finals going Warrandyte’s way.
