Warrandyte Netball Club produced its most successful Winter season on record in 2005, claiming five premierships and finishing on top of every age group for the first time in the club’s history.
The Open A Woodies, 17U Falcons, 15U Magpies, 13U Sparrows, and 13U Swallows all won their grand finals. Association president Lorraine Green praised the club’s strength and depth: “This magnificent achievement speaks volumes for the club.”
Warrandyte came close to a clean sweep of the Under-13s, with the 13U Gumnuts reaching the grand final but going down 12-4 to Donvale Dolphins. Across the club, the results reflected years of development from junior pathways through to open-age competition.
