Saturday marked a successful conclusion to the season for Warrandyte Netball Club, with four of our six teams contesting grand finals achieving premiership victories.
We extend our congratulations to the following premiership-winning teams:
- 13/1 Kangaroos: Secured back-to-back premierships, completing the year (two seasons) undefeated and winning 26 consecutive games.
- 15/1 Emus: Achieved back-to-back premierships, remaining undefeated for the entire season.
- 15/1 Reserve Lyrebirds
- 17/2 Kookaburras
Our 21/1 Herons and Open B Kites contested their respective Grand Finals with commendable effort but were ultimately defeated by strong opposition on the day. Reaching the Grand Final is a notable accomplishment, and we are proud of all teams who qualified for the final round.
In addition to the team successes, four Warrandyte players were recognised as Best on Court in their respective Grand Finals. Congratulations to:
