Congratulations to all of the teams that took part in Semi Finals on Saturday.
We had some wins and some losses but every game was hard fought and our club was represented beautifully by each and every one of our players who play with skill, a sense of fun and a love for the game every week.
The Panthers just got up over our U13 Kangaroos, U17 Magpies and U17 Kookaburras to take out the wins, and our U13 Wallabies couldn’t quite get the win away over Deep Creek, however our players should be incredibly proud with the way they gave it their very all until the final siren. We certainly are!
Our U13 Echidnas had a terrific win against EDNC (26-5) to secure their place in the Grand Final this Saturday. As did the U15 Emus (25-17) & Lyrebirds (16-14) who both came out on top of Donvale.
And, what do you know? Two of our Opens teams have managed to ensure they meet each other in the GF with the Kestrels defeating Deep Creek (37-27) and the Falcons defeating EDNC (52-17).
Having only played against each other once this season, Saturday’s final really could go either way!
