A great day at the courts yesterday for the last fixtured game of the season and the year, with some great wins from WNC teams.
Our U11s had great games against the Panthers; the Koalas defeated the Jets 24-4 and the Wombats defeated the Meteors 12-9.
The 13s Wallabies defeated the EDNC Eclipses 20-12 and the Echidnas held out to beat Deep Creek 10-5.
Our U15s Lyrebirds had a convincing win against the Panthers Lunars 26-10 and our U17s Kookaburras and Magpies finished the season strong – the Magpies taking out Donvale 40-33 and the Kookaburras stealing the show over EDNC 35-8.
In our Opens division, there was no mercy shown by our Kestrels in their match up against our Eagles, punishing them with a 52-13 win. And the Falcons also had a great result against the Doncaster Wildcats 31-18.
We have an impressive 8 teams heading to the semi-finals after the long weekend, what a fantastic result!
