What a fabulous night we had at The Grand Hotel Warrandyte for our senior presentations last Friday night. Many significant awards were given out and they caused an outpouring of emotion. Special mention goes to Amy Potter who was awarded the prestigious Dusting Award and to Julie O’Reilly who received the Life Member Award, both for their significant contributions to the club.
For the first time in 5 years milestone game awards were given out. The seniors have certainly racked up a large number of games between them and we were so pleased to be able to award them to Amie Dusting for 450 games, Cherise Angelotti-Casey for 400 games, Jacinta Kemm for 350 games, Georgia Nichol for 350 games, Kirstie Turner for 350 games, Georgia Walker for 300 games and Ashleigh Carroll for 300 games.
A multitude of girls also received their milestone medals for 100, 150, 200 and 250 games played at the club.
Well done to you all, we love that you enjoy playing netball so much you’re still with us!!
