A great day at the courts yesterday for the last fixtured game of the season and the year, with some great wins from WNC teams.

Net Set Go is back for another term starting at 4pm on Wednesday October 11. All kids from ages 5-10 are welcome.

Saturday, May 13 saw the Manningham Netball courts in Templestowe turn pink to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).

Warrandyte Netball Club (WNC) was excited to take part in the day organised by East Doncaster Netball Club, where players and spectators were encouraged to wear some pink and donate a gold coin to help support a worthy cause.

Congratulations to our U9 Gliders on a terrific win yesterday, scoring 9 to 7. From all accounts it was their best game yet!

The Grand Hotel has done it again!! Congratulations to Peter Appleby and his team for winning 2 awards at the AHA VIC State Awards for Excellence recently. Peter won the new category of “Local Legend – Metro” and the pub also came away with “Best Outdoor Experience – Metro”. We’re so proud of you all for your hard work, it’s been a tough year. Thanks too for supporting the club as our major sponsor.

Congratulations to Cherise Angelotti-Casey on achieving 450 games.
On March 5th, Cherise played her 450th match for the Warrandyte Netball Club, a club record number of games.

All 5-10 year olds welcome! Woolworths NetSetGO is Australia’s official starter program for girls and boys aged 5 to 10. It’s a chance to learn the netball basics while having fun. For a lot of kids, this is the first time they’ll pick up a netball. It’s a learning experience, and a lot of fun.

What a way to end the season with seven WNC teams in finals, 2 winning premierships (U13 Frogs & U17 Kookaburras) and 2 Runner Up (OPEN Hawks & OPEN Raptors).

Our tiny people played their last games in U9s & U11s, and milestone game medals were given to Molly (50), Shinae (100), Alayna (150) and Erin (200).
